Mojo

Mojo is a music lounge restaurant in the up and coming Harlem area in NYC.

Mojo has been cast by American Express to feature in the “American Entrepreneur” commercial.

To inspire a new « Harlem Renaissance”, the French owner thought a place that will be the new neighbour joint, local, friendly and yet glamour as it should be in Harlem. From my research on Harlem Renaissance, I was inspired by Josephine Baker the ultimate icon of Harlem and Paris by night, but also by the limelight and stage lightbulbs.

Marie Marco created variations of original 1920’s patterns with a modern twist and halftone image treatment.
